IoT consulting · LoRaWAN specialists

Expert IoT consulting for connected infrastructure.

Harmony Analytica designs, deploys and integrates LoRaWAN and IoT systems for water, energy, oil and gas, landscape, agriculture and industrial operations, and builds the custom hardware and software when nothing off the shelf fits.

Network design, deployment, integration and custom development.

Harmony Analytica · rooftop deployment

Urban green infrastructure

Know before you go.

Sixty seconds from a Manhattan rooftop deployment: wireless sensors placed in planters and green roofs, joined to one network, and reporting to the dashboard before the crew leaves the roof.

  • Sensor arrays across large-scale urban landscapes
  • One LoRaWAN network spanning buildings and blocks
  • Crews sent with the data in hand, not to find out

Harmony Analytica · irrigation pressure monitoring

Wireless pressure monitoring

Pressure on every backflow, without wires.

A LoRaWAN pressure transducer installed on a backflow preventer. It threads onto the existing test port, pairs with the network in seconds, and reports irrigation pressure so a stuck valve, a break or a closed source shows up in the data before it shows up on the property.

  • Battery powered, no conduit or power at the backflow
  • Pressure trends, low and high alerts on the dashboard
  • Same network as the valves, meters and soil sensors

Full stack Design, deploy, integrate and build custom
Independent Vendor-neutral: any sensor, gateway or network server
LoRaWAN Private, public and hybrid networks

Independent expertise

The whole stack, or just the missing piece.

Complete IoT systems from concept to production, or the single component that plugs into what you already run.

Vendor-neutral recommendations

No commissions from hardware or platform vendors. Sensors, gateways and network servers are chosen against your requirements, so you buy the right thing once.

Work with what you have, or build new

Already have infrastructure? We optimize and extend it. Starting from scratch? We design it to fit your operation, not a vendor’s roadmap.

Strategy, build, or both

Some clients need an architecture review. Others need a full system designed, deployed and integrated. One accountable team either way.

In the field

Recent field work.

Rooftops, sports fields, mechanical rooms and remote sites. We design for the environment the hardware actually lives in.

How to engage

Start small. Scale with confidence.

Every engagement starts with a fixed-fee phase, so you know the cost before work begins. Most projects start at $10,000.

2–4 weeks

Discovery & Architecture

Site assessment, requirements and a written architecture with budget estimates. Fixed fee.

4–8 weeks

Pilot / Proof of Concept

Real devices on a representative site with real data, to prove performance before scaling. Fixed scope.

Milestone-based

Deployment & Build

Network rollout, integrations and custom development delivered in defined phases.

Monthly

Advisory & Support Retainer

Ongoing architecture guidance, monitoring and support for your team.

Andy Humphrey, founder of Harmony Analytica

Led by practitioners

From field experience, not theory.

Harmony Analytica is led by Andy Humphrey, aka Sprinkler Nerd, with a team of advisors across energy, software, agriculture, contracting and connected infrastructure.

  • 25+ years across irrigation, distribution, technology, training and field service
  • Large-scale deployments and connected water infrastructure in real operating environments
  • Creator of MODURA, the intelligence platform for living infrastructure
  • Host of Sprinkler Nerd, reaching 40,000+ industry listeners

Behind the scenes

How we make the BLADE soil moisture sensor.

Every BLADE is programmed, printed, glued, potted and labeled by hand on our bench in batches of ten. Andy walks through the whole process: the three LoRaWAN keys, the 3D-printed ASA housing, the epoxy, and the fifty sensors that taught him the hard way.

  • Unique keys programmed in about five seconds a board
  • UV-resistant ASA housing printed in house
  • Fully potted in epoxy, waterproof like a decoder
  • About one hour of hands-on time per sensor

Our platform

MODURA: intelligence for living infrastructure.

For landscape, irrigation and green infrastructure clients, we pair consulting with MODURA, the platform we built to connect controllers, sensors, landscapes and service teams in one system.

Tell us what you’re building.

Share a few details about your sites, systems and goals. A senior consultant reviews every inquiry and replies within one business day.

What happens next

  • 30-minute discovery call to understand the problem, the sites and the systems already in place
  • Written recommendation with the architecture, hardware and scope we would propose
  • Fixed-fee proposal for the first phase, so you know the cost before work starts

A consultant reads every inquiry. No sales automation.
